The State Department for Water and Sanitation is keen to ensure the completion of all projects under the Kenya Towns Sustainable Water and Sanitation Program (KTSWSP).
The Principal Secretary for Water and Sanitation this afternoon chaired a meeting with the implementing agencies of Athi Water Works Development Agency and Tana Athi Water Works Development Agency to review the progress of the Program with a view to resolve outstanding challenges before its closure by December 2025.
Projects discussed and concrete steps taken to unlock them include the Kitui – Matuu Towns Last Mile Connectivity Project, Machakos Water Supply Project in Machakos County and the Changamwe Repooling Sewer Network Project in Mombasa County
