Mavoko Drinking Water Supply Project<\/strong><\/p>

\"\"Mavoko Drinking Water Supply Project was funded by Belgium Government and the Government of Kenya and currently construction works is 100% complete and operational.<\/p>

The project components were: –<\/p>

  1. Independent line from Nairobi Water Company,<\/li>
  2. Rehabilitation of Nol-Turesh line and tanks,<\/li>
  3. Rehabilitation and de-silting of KMC and Portland dams<\/li>
  4. New Mavoko water treatment works of 10,000m3<\/sup>\/day and pumping units,<\/li>
  5. Construction of 5,000M3<\/sup> R.C Water storage tank and 1No. 300M3<\/sup> Steel Elevated Tank.<\/li><\/ol>

    The water supply will benefit 500,000 residents of Mavoko and its environs. Implementation of the project started on 19th<\/sup> February 2018 to and was completed on 31st<\/sup> March 2021<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

    Wote Water Supply Project Phase II (Emali Town Water Supply Project)<\/strong><\/p>

    \"\"The project will benefit residents from Kibwezi west Constituency with clean reliable water. The works components include laying of 9.75 Km, Construction of 100m3<\/sup> Steel Elevated Tank Supply and installation of solar modules at Muuoni River Sump, Supply and installation of dosing units, Construction of 5 No. water kiosks, Drilling and Equipping of 1 No. Borehole.<\/p>

    Implementation of the project started on 3rd<\/sup> February 2021 and was completed in October 2021 The project is complete and operational.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

    Solarization of Migwani Water Supply Project<\/strong><\/p>

    \"\"The project intends to reduce the power bill for the Migwani water supply project by substituting the Kenya Power Grid source of power with solar power thereby making the project more sustainable.<\/p>

    The project components include foundation civil works and fabrication of steel solar mounting structure and the installation of solar modules and electromechanical works with a capacity of 75 Kw.     Masinga Cluster Phase 3 (Matuu and Kangonde-Mutwa Mwaki Water Supply Project<\/strong><\/p>

    The project intents to supply water to residents of Matuu, Ikalakala and Mutwa Mwaki with reliable and sustainable source of water.<\/p>

    The project components are Construction of 2km Matuu raising main, steel elevated tank, 8km Mutwa-Mwaki water supply pipeline, rehabilitation of existing 30km Kaewa \u2013 Ikalakala pipeline.<\/p>

    The project is currently at 85% complete and construction works are expected to be completed by June 2022<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

    The project components include construction of offtake from the existing nolturesh line, laying of 30km pipeline, construction of 100m3 masonry tank, connection to existing kiosks in Kikumini<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
